Help Me to Understand

Folks, I sometimes really don't understand how logical, considerate, and above all good-hearted individuals in our midst are so easily manipulated. True, those who seek to control are often astute in the ways of persuasion and misinformation, but why is this ruse so difficult for so many to recognize? Politz bureau, Nazi party, both pale in comparison to the compassionate left in their abilities to use the most human of concepts to achieve the most inhumane results.

To Whom I Pray It Concerns,

Dearest distinguished ladies and gentlemen, senators and representatives, Mr. President and honorary Judges of these United States.

The annals of history are slathered with shameless tales, installed by victors and majorities. As one attempts to pluck facts from this muck of frequently crude bias, it becomes all too clear that truth is anything but clear. There are, however, a few hardly arguable exceptions. Stories of light amidst darkness, moments in time in which all but the most cynical and cold hearted agree were indeed, rare instances of grace. Often against unfathomable odds whimpers turn roars, and the oppressed seized their destiny.

And so I proclaim, we the people are yet again standing before a void of uncertainty. Knowing only that we are disenfranchised and wrought with discontent.
